Sony XDR-C1DBP – Wake Up to Proper Radio

The Sony XDR-C1DBP is a compact bedside DAB/DAB+ and FM digital clock radio, combining everyday alarm-clock functions with clear digital radio reception.

It's ideal for the bedroom, kitchen or bedside table where you want instant radio without reaching for your phone.

DAB+ & FM Radio

Listen to digital DAB/DAB+ stations or traditional FM, with 10 DAB and 10 FM presets for your favourites.

The LCD display shows the time and radio information, with adjustable brightness so it isn't glaring beside the bed.

A Smarter Alarm Clock

Set two separate alarms – useful for couples or for having different weekday routines – and choose to wake to the radio or buzzer.

There's also a sleep timer and snooze function, while the built-in backup system keeps the clock running if there's a temporary power cut.

Why We Think It's Cool

Sometimes the coolest technology is the technology that doesn't make you pick up your phone.

Wake up, press a button and listen to the radio – no apps, notifications or scrolling required.

ITsCool Verdict

A good Lifestyle Tech / Audio addition, especially if your buying price allows you to offer it competitively. Sony gives it credibility, and DAB+ makes it much more useful than a basic alarm clock.

I wouldn't feature it heavily on your homepage, but it's exactly the sort of recognisable, useful branded product that adds depth to the shop without making ITsCool feel like a general computer catalogue.

Your phone can stay asleep too – wake up with Sony instead. Available from ITsCool.ie.
