This is another specialist ergonomic mouse, rather than an ordinary wireless mouse. The Evoluent4 Small Wireless is specifically designed for right-handed users with smaller hands, positioning the hand vertically in a natural “handshake” position rather than flat against the desk.
Designed Around Your Hand
The unusual vertical shape is intended to reduce the amount your forearm needs to twist when using a conventional mouse. There's also a supportive lower lip that prevents your little finger from dragging along the desk.
And the Small designation is important. BakkerElkhuizen recommends this version for hand lengths of up to 178 mm, so it's particularly useful for people who find conventional ergonomic mice too large.
6 Programmable Buttons
Despite its unusual shape, this isn't a basic mouse. You get six buttons, which can be customised using the Evoluent Mouse Manager software.
Pointer speed can also be changed directly between four settings:
800 / 1300 / 1800 / 2600 DPI
That means you can slow the pointer down for detailed work or increase it when moving quickly around a large display.
